Deb Shoval spends most of the week raising organic vegetables in Pennsylvania. The rest of the time she writes scripts and teaches children in New York. She has a B.A. in agriculture and an M.A. in cinema direction and has recently been chosen as one of "100 people to watch out for" in Heeb magazine. She can't wait to return to Israel / Palestine to direct her first full-length feature film, "Poppies and Olives”.
